In order to support client needs, training modules and resources range from a brief "15 minute" presentation that identifies the need for the training to a 30 minute, 90 minute, 3-6 hour or full day Master Training program. Nominated for the 2011 Program Delivery Award by the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, the Blood Pressure Master Training Program teaches Master Trainers how to train other health care professionals and laypersons in accurate blood pressure measurement. MCD Public Health integrates quality improvement strategies into all of our resources and training curriculum. One of our ultimate goals is to have health care professionals implement system change and improvements within their practice or health system and deliver the highest quality of care.
